The Open Rights Group ('ORG') is responsible for the website nakedcitizens.eu ('the Website') and acts as the data controller for all information provided by you though this website.

The website uses three tools to establish contact between you and a Member of European Parliament ('MEP') of your choice.

1. E-mail tool. The e-mail tool allows you to send e-mails to MEPs of your choice. We carry out verification of your e-mail address prior to sending the e-mail on your behalf. The information you provide via this e-mail tool, such as your name, e-mailaddress and possible other information will be used to send the e-mail to your MEP of choice. You are requested to provide your country and hometown so that MEPs can establish that you belong to their constituency. Only when you give your consent, we will use this information or your electronic contact information to contact you further in the course of the 'naked citizens' campaign. Furthermore, you can separately consent to the use of your personal data by ORG. In that, ORG will keep you informed on other campaigns or issues run by ORG. 2. Cookies. The e-mail tool uses a session cookie to store your personal data when filling out multiple forms. Depending on your privacy settings, such cookies will be accepted by your browser. The session cookie will not transfer information to third parties.

3. Data sharing. We shall never voluntarily share your information with a third party for their own use, except as indicated under (2) above. We will fight to the degree that we are able any legal or government action that attempts to obtain such data.

4. Access to your data. Under the Data Protection Act, you may at any time request a copy of the information we hold on you (for which we may charge a small fee to offset our administration costs) by writing or e-mailing to us at the above address. Any requests for deletion or correction of your personal data can also be obtained via this address.
